Goodberries are a food item from the base set that can add an additional +3 Strength to one hero of the player's choice. It also converts any of that same heroes Physical Attack value, including equipped weapons, into Magic Attack.
Each Goodberry card also provides 1 Victory Point (VP) towards the player's score at the end of a session. This is the only Village card that provides VP other than the final level of heroes in the base set.
If Goodberries are destroyed for any reason before battle such as by a card effect like the Thyrian / Outlands heroes, its Strength bonus and Attack conversion are lost.
